Other comments: Water Buffalo are found primarily in tropical and subtropical parts of Asia. In the warmer weather they spend a lot of time in water, where their extra wide hooves prevent them from sinking into the mud. In thunderstorms they can be seen running and jumping into water, where they feel safe.
